Another easy dish for breakfast. Hotdogs with Ketchup are typically paired when drinking liquor/beer. In the Philippines we call it “pulutan”. It can also be paired with rice (Filipinos love to eat rice).
Preparation time: ~2mins. Cooking time: 5mins Serving size: 2
- Cooking oil
- 1- 1/2 piece Onion
- 4pcs Filipino style hotdog sliced diagonally.
- 4-5tbsp Sweet style Ketchup
- 1tsp Oyster sauce
- Pinch of Pepper
**Note that these are just approximations. I don’t measure when I cook.
Saute the onions. Wait until it softens and add the hotdogs. Fry it for a minute then add the ketchup and oyster sauce. Stir and let it sit for a minute. Add pepper, taste it and you’re done!
